This wheely big 16" diameter hamster wheel is the largest 3d printed item Stroodies sells. We built a special extra-large 3D printer, named him "Bucephelus (Biff) McLargeHuge", and put him to work making these wheels!

The Bolt-Clamp passes a stainless steel bolt through the cage-mesh and clamps VERY securely with no tools required. The BoltClamp also works with other types of enclosures, such as wood or PVC, but you will need to stick the bolt through a hole in the wall somehow.
The BoltClamp will not work for Glass-enclosures. Check out our smaller Magnetic Wheels for glass enclosures!
This version features a SMOOTH running surface & has NO HOLES whatsoever.
This 16"-diameter Wheel has a 5" running width; so, like, the wheel is a 5"-wide sidewalk.
Ships fully assembled and ready to hang out!
🔩🔩This Bolt-Clamped wheel include two pieces:
[1] a Wheel ( fully-assembled with Bearings, Bolt, and front-Clamp) and [2] a Back-Clamp which goes on the outside of the enclosure-wall.
Your Back-Clamp will be threaded onto your Wheel's central Bolt when your order arrives.
***Bolt-Clamp Installation:*** Unscrew the Back-Clamp to remove it from the Wheel (this leaves one Front-Clamp still attached to the Wheel's bolt and leaves the Bolt protruding from the back of the Wheel). Hold the Wheel where you want on the enclosure's wall and then pass the bolt through the Cage-Mesh. Tighten the Back-Clamp onto the bolt while holding the Front-Clamp still. Turning the Clamps by hand provides plenty of torque, no wrenches required!
Yes 🛁👍 Okay to submerge for washing! 😁👌
The included hardware (pre-assembled Skate Bearing, M8 bolt, & M8 Nut) is all stainless steel. Wash with warm water and pet-safe soap. Make sure the bearings have a chance to dry, don't let them sit wet overnight.
If desired, the entire bearing & BoltClamp assembly can be removed for wheel washing. Hanging the wheel doesn't require tools, but you'd need a wrench and an Allen key to completely disassemble the hardware.
❗Do not put in dishwasher, do not use water that's too hot for your hands or your pets.❗
I designed this 🔩🐹🛞 Hanging Hamster Wheel for a friend who loves rats. I then revised the design (like, 50 times 😅😂) based on input from the hamster community online and input from prototype testers, both hamster & human.

Using our buddy Bucephelus (Biff) McLargeHuge (a 3D printer), Stroodies makes this product out of PLA plastic and stainless steel hardware. PLA plastic is made of fibers from plants like corn or sugarcane.
