Stroodies is now for the Spoodies with our new prototype 🕷️🚰 Spider Hydrator Water Bottles. These handy hydrators use a cotton wick to bring just enough water to your spider without the danger of standing water in the tank or need for frequent spraying.
Each Bottle comes with 2x wicks. 1x installed & 1x spare.
🧲🕷️🚰The magnetic version 🧲 easily hangs high-up on enclosure walls! Comes with a pair of magnets: one attached to the Bottle and one "magBack" which goes on the outside of the enclosure wall.
🕷️🕷️🚰 The standard version 🕷️does not come with any magnets. It sits on the floor of a tank or on whatever ledges you like.
Try them both with a set of each or get a 4-pack of ones that work for you!
INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove wick (pull it out)
Wet the wick with water.
Fill the Bottle with water.
Place wherever you've got spiders!
Note: While in use, please avoid long-term contact between the cotton wick and other "wicky" materials. For example: if the Bottle gets parked somewhere with the cotton touching a paper towel, then the paper towel will slowly wick all the water out of the Bottle!
With the wick fully inserted, the Bottles seem to stay wet for a couple (maybe three) days in my house. Results will vary based on humidity, airflow, and wick-extension. If the wick sticks out farther, it will evaporate the Bottle faster.
Replacement wicks are available.
The wicks are made of high-quality fiber cotton and will withstand being soaked for long periods without mold or rot, but do eventually need to be replaced.
I make these beauties with my 3D printers out of and PLA plastic in Rochester, NY.
PLA plastic is comprised of tough fibers from plants like sugar cane or corn. This materials will hold up for years in a Gecko environment. Stroodies stands behind all of our products because we have our own geckos and we love them very much.
